Dangerous Goods

Webag does not transport and does not provide other services related to luggage that, at our sole discretion, contains dangerous and/or considered dangerous items, including but not limited to those specified in the technical instructions of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), the International Air Transport Association (IATA) dangerous goods regulations, the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) code, the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR), or any other national, community or international regulation applicable to the transport and provision of other services related to dangerous goods.

Aviation Security Regulation

By accepting the Service and entrusting us with the shipment of luggage, the Customer guarantees that it does not contain any prohibited item. Shipments transported or managed by us may be subject to security checks, including the use of X-ray and/or scanner systems, and the Customer accepts that the luggage may be opened and its contents inspected during transport. The Customer therefore authorizes Webag and/or its auxiliaries, associates and affiliates, operational partners, agents and independent contractors of Webag, customs or police authorities to carry out any security check that may be necessary on the luggage when transported by air. The Customer guarantees that the luggage has been prepared for transport, or for the provision of other services, in safe places and that the shipment has been safeguarded from any unauthorized or unlawful interference during its preparation, any packaging and transport up to the moment prior to acceptance of the luggage by Webag.

Prohibited or Non-Accepted Items by Webag

Webag does not transport luggage containing the following items:

• Aerosol sprays
• Vehicle fuel system components that have contained fuel
• Alarm devices
• Explosives, including detonators, fuses, mines, grenades, fireworks and pyrotechnics
• Gases, including propane and butane
• Flammable liquids, including gasoline and methanol
• Refrigerants, irritants, and liquids in general
• Radioactive material, including medical or commercial isotopes
• Flammable solids and reactive substances, including magnesium, ignition devices
• Corrosive substances, including mercury and vehicle batteries
• Perfumes, flammable liquid/solid substances including alcohol above 70 degrees
• Magnetizing substances
• Oxidizing substances and organic peroxides, including bleach and car body repair kits
• Toxic or infectious substances, including rat poison and infected blood
• Underwater torch with batteries inserted
• Plants, seeds and live or dead animals
• Negotiable instruments and certificates (bills of lading)
• Currency (banknotes, coins, credit cards, prepaid cards and travellers cheques)
• Other non-negotiable valuables
• Weaponry, ammunition, projectiles, firearms and bladed weapons
• Software, video games and hardware components
• Waste
• Political material
• Hazardous materials
• Perishable products
• Pharmaceutical products in quantities exceeding the Customer’s personal therapy of 30 days
• Narcotic or psychotropic substances
• Tobacco, tobacco-containing products and alcoholic beverages
• Art objects
• Cultural goods in general
• Documents, bids for public or private tenders, securities, meal vouchers and fuel vouchers, etc.
• Fragile objects, such as glass, bottles, etc.
• Architectural models
• Goods subject to customs excise
• Biological tissues and anatomical parts
• Watches
• Ivory and ivory objects
• Animal hides and furs
• Computers, photographic equipment, video cameras, mobile phones, tablets, consoles, video games, electrical and electronic equipment in general.

The Customer acknowledges and recognizes that the transport of such items, even if not visible by X-ray and/or scanner, contained inside the luggage, is absolutely prohibited and, in any case, not accepted by us, as well as subject to specific sector regulations which in some cases and in some countries provide for financial penalties, arrest and/or imprisonment of the responsible/holder/possessor/owner/proprietor. In the event of insertion of the above-listed items inside the luggage, the Customer is the sole and exclusive responsible for any civil and criminal consequence arising from the mere transport of the luggage, and hereby indemnifies Webag, sub-carriers, partners and auxiliaries from any administrative, financial, civil and criminal liability in this regard. Webag considers the list of articles above, with the exception of those prohibited by international, national and EU regulations, non-exhaustive for Customers who are EU citizens with direct departure from an EU Member State and direct destination to an EU Member State. The Customer is aware that, due to inadequate preparation of the luggage and/or the insertion of prohibited and/or non-accepted items, the luggage itself, as well as its contents, may be destroyed.
